On a personal note, I have a PhD and an academic career in a field that has nothing to do with photography. I am an avid tennis player and help my husband maintain his online tennis instruction business, I am a DC sports fan and nature-lover. Currently, I live with my family in the Washington DC area, in Reston VA.
